FOHO New & High-tech Industrial Development Zone is home to more than 3,000 enterprises, including 5 listed companies, i.e. Etern Group, Canny Elevator, Dongwu Cement, Eurocrane and StrongLED, 17 new three board listed companies such as Goode EIS, Wallmate and Taihu Electric Advanced Material, and 3 national-level creative spaces.
The zone has been designated as “Jiangsu Province’s International Service Outsourcing Demonstration Zone” and “Jiangsu Province’s Modern Service Industry Cluster”. It has been approved as the Super High-speed and Energy-saving Elevator Characteristic Industrial Base of National Torch Plan, the Provincial Innovation Demonstration Township, the Provincial Food Industry Park, the Provincial High-end Equipment Manufacturing Characteristic Industrial Base and the Provincial Intellectual Property Demonstration Park. The Foho Science and Innovation Park, a national science and technology business incubator, has been listed in the first batch of the provincial HOME Program work bases.
In 2018, the development zone achieved a regional GDP of 28.5 billion yuan; its New Semiconductor Industrial and Science Park was selected as a provincial-level major project; it signed a number of high-quality projects with enterprises like CRRC and Chipone Technology; and it quickened the construction of a science and technology innovation corridor and five characteristic industrial parks.
