With a planned area of 1 square kilometer, the zone has built standard factory buildings of 100,000 square meters, bonded warehouses of 60,000 square meters, and accommodation areas of 90,000 square meters. Nearly 30 enterprises from Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea have settled here. In 2018, the total import and export volume stood at 4.08 billion US dollars and the import and export goods under Wujiang Customs supervision was worth 16 billion US dollars.
According to “Several Opinions of the State Council on Boosting the High-level Opening-up and High-quality Development of the Comprehensive Bonded Zone”, Wujiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone is aiming at developing five centers, i.e. a processing and manufacturing center, a R&D and design center, a logistics distribution center, a testing and maintenance center, and a sales & service center.
