Taoyuan Ecological Technology Industrial Park has a planned area of 26.83 square kilometers and is divided into two parts. Its north part focuses on two traditional industries: the textile and clothing industry with an annual production value of 10 billion yuan and the consumer goods industry with an annual production value of 5 billion yuan, which is aimed at building Taoyuan town into a center of advanced manufacturing in the southern part of Wujiang District. Its south part focuses on enhancing the independent R&D capacity and cultivating two new industries, i.e. the new material industry with an annual production value of 10 billion yuan and the equipment manufacturing industry with an annual production value of 5 billion yuan.
