The National Men’s Volleyball Championship is the highest-level volleyballevent in China. It wasoriginally named the grand prix, which has been renamedthe championship since 2015. In 2016, the finals of the championship were held in Wujiang from June 22nd to 26th, sponsored by the Volleyball Administrative Centre of the General Administration of Sport of China and undertaken by the Sports Competition Administrative Centre of Jiangsu Province and the People’s Government of Wujiang District, Suzhou. In 2016, after the initial stage of two stations, 101 athletes of 6 teams from Jiangsu, Sichuan, Henan, Shandong, Bayi and Shanghai went into the finals, which were held in Wujiang as the first place. It was the sixth time for Wujiang Districtto undertake this event.
