On March 11, Wang Guorong, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, discussed entrepreneurship with young business starters at a meeting held in the Wujiang Hotel. During his dialogue with the young entrepreneurs, Wang noted that the district will fully support the high-quality development of local enterprises. He called on young entrepreneurs to build consensus and strengthen confidence and make greater contribution to the building of Wujiang into a model for Chinese modernization. Wei Guoling, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee, Fang Fang, secretary of the CYL Suzhou Municipal Committee, and Cui Wei, president of Suzhou Youth Chamber of Commerce, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, some young entrepreneurs made speeches on such topics as industrial development, scientific and technological innovation, talent attraction, and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. They introduced the operation and long-term development plan of their enterprises and exchanged ideas on how to strengthen mutually-beneficial cooperation and boost the district’s high-quality development. Representatives of relevant departments learned in detail about the difficulties and challenges local enterprises face.
Young people are full of vigor and vitality, Wang Guorong said, adding that young entrepreneurs have made great contribution to the economic and social development of Wujiang, doing their best to help deepen economic and trade cooperation, promote industrial upgrading and facilitate the development of public welfare undertakings. Local young entrepreneurs have international vision and are able to lead their enterprises to achieve greater success.
The district chief urged all localities and departments to give full support to local enterprises, offer efficient government services and create a first-class business environment. Local governments should strengthen communication with enterprises, help them solve difficulties hindering their development, and support them in attracting talents, introducing technologies, expanding market, and making use of external resources. The CYL Wujiang District Committee and Wujiang Youth Chamber of Commerce should play the role of a bridge, care for young entrepreneurs and better serve local enterprises.
Young entrepreneurs should seize the development opportunities and realize their full potential, Wang said, encouraging local enterprises to make unswerving efforts to support the real economy in becoming stronger, take the initiative to tackle key technical bottlenecks in key areas, deepen intelligent and digital transformation, and strive to achieve sustainable development.
Fang Fang fully affirmed the achievements made by Wujiang Youth Chamber of Commerce in recent years and placed high expectations on the future development of young entrepreneurs and their enterprises in Wujiang District. She stressed the importance of upholding the Party’s leadership and urged young entrepreneurs to shoulder the historic mission, dare to think and act on innovation, seize the development opportunities, stay true to their original aspirations and press ahead with great determination.
