On November 14, a service center for people working in new forms and models of businesses was unveiled in Wujiang District. The center, which is open 24 hours a day, is part of the district’s three-level service system to encourage flexible employment and the growth of new business models. Qi Song, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Suzhou Municipal Committee and director of the Organization Department, and Li Ming, secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee, attended the unveiling ceremony.
The service center is located in the logistics park of Wujiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, which has been transformed from an idle two-floor building. It covers an area of 400 square meters, with the first floor for Party-building exhibition and convenient services and the second floor for government service and employment guidance.
The unveiling of the center marks the formal establishment of the three-level service system of Wujiang District to encourage flexible employment and the growth of new business models. In recent years, local authorities have made great efforts to establish a service network. A total of 392 service stations have been set up to help form 10-minute service circles, which offer professional service to people working in new forms and models of businesses with flexible employment and help promote the development of emerging industries.
Before the ceremony, Qi Song visited several communities in Jiangling Sub-district and fully affirmed the achievements in facilitating grassroots governance through Party building.
District leaders Yang Bin and Li Wenbin participated in the activity.
