District leaders extend Int’l Children’s Day greetings

June 1 marks the International Children’s Day. On May 31, Li Ming, secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee, Wang Guorong, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, and Qian Bin, director of the Standing Committee of theWujiang District People’s Congress, led a team to visit Wujiang District Renze School, Luxiang Experimental Primary School Liuhong Campus, and Liuhong Experimental Kindergarten. They extendedholiday greetings to children across the district and expressed heartfelt gratitude to those involved in work concerning children.

Children are the future of the country and the hope of the Chinese nation. During the visits, Li Ming emphasized the importance of dedicated care for children and urged local authorities and relevant departments to attach great importance to campus safety and create better conditions for the healthy and happy growth of children. Efforts should be made to optimize the allocation of public education resources, provide extra support for children with special needs, promote the balanced development of compulsory education, and work hard to run education to the satisfaction of the people.
