The signing ceremony of the Oxai Operation Headquarters Base in Wujiang District was held on July 5. Wang Guorong, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, and Mao Yiqing, chairman of Shanghai Oxai Aircraft Co., Ltd., attended the event and witnessed the signing of the agreement.
The Oxai Operation Headquarters Base is located in the Qushui Shanwan rural revitalization “beautiful Wujiang” demonstration area in Fenhu High-tech Zone, Wujiang District. An aircraft delivery center, a take-off and landing site for low-altitude aerial vehicles and an aviation culture design center will be built at the headquarters base which covers an area of about 10 mu (6,666 square meters).
The project signed this time is part of the efforts to accelerate the development of new quality productive forces, nurture strategic emerging sectors and future industries, and cultivate new advantages and new momentum of growth. It will help Wujiang make the most of the strategic opportunities to bolster the high-quality development of the burgeoning low-altitude economy.
Local authorities in Wujiang District will fully support the construction and operation of the Oxai Operation Headquarters Base and will provide the enterprise with the best service and environment to ensure that the project can be started, completed and put into operation as soon as possible. Joint efforts will be made to make the base a model project in the Yangtze River Delta integration demonstration zone for completing and upgrading the industrial chain and attract more upstream and downstream enterprises and partners to seek common development.
At the ceremony, Mao Yiqing was appointed as a consultant on Wujiang district’s low-altitude economic and industrial development. Qian Yu, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and deputy district chief, presented Mao with the letter of appointment and witnessed the signing of the agreement. Chen Jianzhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Fenhu High-tech Zone, delivered a speech at the event.
