On November 29, Sun Jianjiang, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, led a team to inspect the development of high-end equipment industrial clusters. He stressed the need to seize development opportunities, remain committed to the path of high-end, intelligent and green development, and accelerate the high-quality development of high-end equipment industrial clusters, so as to vigorously develop new quality productive forces, create new development momentum and cultivate new development advantages.
The team first visited Tsinghua University Suzhou Automotive Research Institute in Wujiang District which, jointly established by Tsinghua University and the Suzhou Municipal Government, is committed to the R&D of automotive technologies, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the incubation of high-tech enterprises. Sun Jianjiang listened carefully to the report on the research institute’s development history, operation mode and efforts to advance industry-education integration.
Later, the team went to BOZHON Precision Industry Technology Co., Ltd. As a national single-product champion enterprise, BOZHON is committed to providing overall solutions for intelligent manufacturing. After visiting the exhibition hall, Sun Jianjiang had in-depth exchanges with persons in charge of the enterprise and spoke highly of its products and technologies.
The team also inspected Suzhou Zhongcheng New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. Sun Jianjiang inquired in detail about the enterprise’s operation and its efforts in promoting technological innovation and expanding the market share, as well as the problems facing its development.
