On March 20, Wujiang District held a meeting on promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce, which summarized the achievements made in the previous year and made arrangements for the next phase of work. Sun Jianjiang, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Sun Jianjiang fully affirmed the achievements Wujiang has made in boosting cross-border e-commerce. The cross-border e-commerce sector witnessed leapfrog development last year, the district chief said, pointing out that there are still difficulties ahead and there remains much room for improvement.
At the meeting, an official of the District Commerce Bureau briefed the attendees about the development of the cross-border e-commerce sector in 2024 and in the first two months of 2025, as well as the key tasks in 2025. Representatives of relevant sub-districts, townships and departments made speeches, sharing their ideas on how to accomplish the major tasks and objectives in 2025.
Before the meeting, Sun Jianjiang and his entourage went to Remacro Machinery & Technology (Wujiang) Co., Ltd. and Kapro Tools (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. to learn in detail about their development and offer help in solving the challenges in their operation.
