On March 15, Sun Jianjiang, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, led a team to visit some foreign trade enterprises in the district to learn more about their operation and the difficulties facing their development. During the visits, he stressed the need to stabilize foreign investment and foreign trade and cultivate new advantages in international cooperation and competition.
The team visited key foreign trade enterprises such as Goode EIS (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., Suzhou Alton Electrical & Mechanical Industry Co., Ltd., and Suzhou Furukawa Power Optic Cable Co., Ltd. (SFPOC). Sun Jianjiang had face-to-face communication with persons in charge of the enterprises, inquiring in detail about the enterprises’ order volume, market share, R&D efforts, and import and export business. He also helped identify and deal with a number of issues affecting the development of the enterprises.
Chen Jianzhong, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Fenhu High-tech Zone, participated in the visits.
