On April 2, the Yangtze River Delta OPC Innovation and Development Conference was held in Wujiang District. The event aims to seize new opportunities in artificial intelligence development, actively integrate into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the construction of Shanghai International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and build a high-quality hub for OPC enterprises. Tian Ye, vice president of China Academy of Industrial Internet (CAII), Shen Mingrong, deputy Party secretary and vice president of Soochow University, and Sun Daoxun, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, attended the event.
During the event, the Yangtze River Delta OPC Innovation and Development Alliance was inaugurated and the construction of the “Taihu Cloud Bay” AI Agglomeration Zone launched. Wujiang District released the measures to support the innovative development of OPC & AIAgent and the opportunity list for developing AI OPC scenarios. The District Public Computing Power Service Platform and the District AI OPC Service Network were officially launched.
In addition, Wujiang District established a 10-billion-yuan credit pool to support the innovative development of AI OPCs and a 1-billion-yuan fund pool to boost the AI industry, which will help leverage social capital and provide long-term and comprehensive financial support for the development of such start-ups.
Jin Yaochu, academician of the Academy of Europe and chair professor of Westlake University, and Shen Yiyang, a Ph.D. graduate from Stanford University, delivered keynote speeches.
District leaders Chen Jianzhong, Shen Weijiang, Fang Yong, Chen Qi and Chen Yu attended the event.
