Recently, Sun Daoxun, secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee, and Cao Ye, deputy secretary of the CPC Wujiang District Committee and district chief, respectively led teams to inspect the preparations for the 2026 autumn semester. They stressed the need to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on education, firmly establish and practice a correct view of governance performance, fully implement the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, and make solid preparations for the new semester to ensure a safe, stable and orderly campus environment and deliver quality education to the satisfaction of the people.
Sun Daoxun and his entourage visited East Taihu Experimental Primary School and Wujiang School Affiliated to Soochow University. They toured classrooms, libraries, and canteens to inspect the campus environment on-site and talked with school administrators to learn about the enrollment, faculty, curriculum, campus culture, student services, as well as the preparations for the new semester.
Cao Ye and his team visited Yang Jiachi Experimental School and Xinsheng Experimental School. They inspected key campus areas including teaching buildings, canteens, dormitories and security duty rooms, conducting comprehensive checks on campus fire safety, food safety, and facility and equipment maintenance.
